Bengaluru: In the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 auction, Bengaluru Bulls have bought defender Yogesh Dahiya for a whopping price of Rs 1.125 crore. Yogesh Dahiya was among the few players in whom many teams showed interest, but ultimately Bengaluru Bulls succeeded in including him in their camp.
Iran’s star all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadlu Chiyaneh was the most expensive player in this auction. He was bought by Gujarat Giants for a record-breaking price of Rs 2.23 crore. Shadlu has become the first player to get a bid of more than Rs 2 crore for the third consecutive season.
On the first day of the auction, many big players were heavily bid. Bengal Warriors bought Devank Dalal for Rs 2.205 crore, while Dabang Delhi retained Ashu Malik for Rs 1.90 crore. Tamil Thalaivas bought Arjun Deshwal for Rs 1.405 crore.
Bengaluru Bulls’ purchase of Yogesh Dahiya for Rs 1.125 crore is considered an important acquisition, which will further strengthen the team’s defense line. The fans of the team are now excited to see Yogesh’s performance in the upcoming season.
