Rajasthan, which is called the land of heroes, has its glorious history as the land of Rajputana. Here the heroes have sacrificed their lives for their honor. They were not afraid of bloody wars for the sake of their word. Today the heroes of Rajasthan are famous all over the world for their bravery.
Matire Ri Raad
This is an incident in the history of Rajasthan which happened in 1644 AD in which it happened that a Matira vine was planted in Bikaner state, due to which its vine reached Nagaur state, on that vine, Matira grew towards Nagaur state. Both the states became eager to claim their ownership over that Matira.
Finally, when no solution was found, a bloody war started between the two states and thousands of soldiers were killed in this war.
According to historians, even though Bikaner state was victorious, thousands of soldiers had to sacrifice their lives.
It is known in history as ‘Matire Ri Raad’.
