Usually, the time of arrival of monsoon is around 1st June. But this time the possibility of monsoon coming is being told around 27th May.
How many types of monsoon are there?
Monsoon comes to India in two types, South-West Monsoon and North-East Monsoon. South-West Monsoon comes in summer while North-East Monsoon comes in winter. The monsoon that comes at this time comes in the form of two branches – one is Arabian Sea Monsoon Branch and the other is Bay of Bengal Monsoon Branch.
Which monsoon comes first in Rajasthan?
Normally, Arabian Sea branch of monsoon reaches Rajasthan first which causes rain in many districts. When this branch of monsoon meets the branch of Bay of Bengal, the intensity of monsoon increases. The entry of monsoon in Rajasthan is considered to be around 25th June and lasts till September.
