Although the river flow system in Rajasthan is very strong, here there are seasonal rivers as well as perennial flow systems through which water is supplied to Rajasthan, among them Ruparel river is the longest river of Alwar which originates from Alwar and meets Moti Jheel of Bharatpur.
Due to less chances of rain for some time, its flow system has also decreased continuously, it is now not able to reach Bharatpur completely.
Revival of Ruparel river
Recently, the Water Resources Department has decided to remove the encroachment on the way of this river to keep it alive completely so that the water of the river can reach properly without any obstruction.
Support in case of water shortage
When there is no rain in bad times, we get water through the dam built on the river, the water of the river can be reserved by stopping it in the dam, which can be used at the time of water shortage.
When the flow of river water starts in a certain direction, it can be fully utilised.
