New delhi:According to the press release issued recently, the meteorological department has warned of heavy rains in the Northeast and sub-Himalayan region. Along with fisherman, this the meteorological department has also warned fishermen that going into the interior of the sea for some time is not safe.
From when to when is the fishermen warning?
(A.)From 02 June 1130 IST to 04 June 0530 IST in many parts of South and Central Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep area; on 02 June along and around Karnataka coast; on 03 June in North Kerala, Karnataka coasts and Lakshadweep area; from 02 June 1130 IST to 04 June 0530 IST in Gulf of Mannar; Fishermen are advised not to venture into Somalia coast and adjoining sea areas from 02 June 1130 IST to 07 June 0530 IST.
(B.)Fishermen are advised not to venture into many parts of central Bay of Bengal and adjoining parts of northern Bay of Bengal from 02 June 0530 IST to 04 June 0530 IST; into northern parts of central and north Bay of Bengal on 04 June; and off northern Tamil Nadu coast on 04 June.
